What's your experience with the healing process of either?

Any tips for when I get it done for the healing process?

When you found it best to change the jewellery?

How long it took to heal for you?

Or if you maybe don't have it done which one would you say looks better?

Getting it done in 2 weeks but I'm stuck in between which one. At the tattoo place I go to its £30 for the standard and £50 for the venom. I'm not squeezed for money I'm just unsure what I should get done as I'm sure any of you who love piercings will know how good they both look and how hard it is to choose😂

I like both. My tongue didn't hurt at all. Swelled a little bit and was hard to eat for the first couple days. No problems or complaints here. I've had mine since December 2010

I would get standard. I feel like venoms would just be a problem and would increase the risks of biting the barbells, chipping teeth, etc. healing for my tongue piercing was awesome. I had a lisp obviously for a week and my tongue was super swollen. Initial piercing was pretty painful for me honestly lol. After care is pretty simple. Keep up normal hygiene and rinse mouth out with alcohol free mouthwash diluted with a bit of water after every meal. It healed great for me :) best time to change is about 8 or 12 weeks. Dont try to change your barbell really soon or youll regret it. Choice whatever piercing you like best :) i love mine lol.
