NURX, a possible life changer

🦇𝓡

Sorry. I'm on an article reading roll right now while my son is sleeping. 😂

People are buying contraception on an app. The app I was reading about is a San Fran based company called NURX, one of several ventures that provide several hormonal birth control options without requiring a live doctor visit or other provider.

People like the speed, no hassle, and privacy they get by using the app. Its also only $15 for a months supply so it can be more affordable.

NURX is available in 18 states. Its especially popular in Texas where women (or people with uteruses) lack easy access to women's health services. The people using these services answer a questionare, go through live chats with medical professionals, and from there they make a suggestion on what birth control would be best. If the patient has a question, the provider is an IM or a phone call away. Someone is always there to respond.

After all this NURX sends out the prescription and sends the birth control through priority shipping or faster if its for emergency contraception. Birth control is often free with health insurance. Otherwise its $15 starting depending on the brand.

Could this be the new way of health care?
