As soon as I ever feel it coming, I start gargling with salt and warm distilled water. For sinus congestion I use the netti pot with a saline solution (again DISTILLED water). You can also boil some thyme and water, and place your a towel over your head over the steam. Try to drink more hot tea, and if you have a juicer go ahead and make something with ginger (I like carrots and ginger the best). Also keep your mouth clean, brush twice a day, if you have a natural mouthwash use it before bed. Find colloidal silver and drink some whenever you start to feel ill! Everything will clear up within one day :) you can also add a couple tablespoons of the silver to your water bottle, it has no taste.
