I have been growing my hair out for years and years because for a teen, long hair is gorgeous and a dream for styling, etc. I'm 17 and my hair is almost at my belly button when it's perfectly pin straight. Starting last week when we were on vacation, my mom started telling me for the first time that my hair is disgusting and I should tie it back and has been continue to tell me it's disgusting ever since and it really hurts my feelings because I love my hair and plus my mom is rude and puts me down a lot. Now I'm considering donating it since she hates it and is hurting me and it is long enough to donate. Please comment if I should keep my long gorgeous hair or if you think I should donate it.
