D&C at Kaiser?

Hi all. I’m having a D&C; procedure tomorrow afternoon due a missed miscarriage at 9 weeks (I should be 12 today). They prescribed me Norco and Ativan and I have no idea if they’re going to make me be awake or not. I’ve heard it’s not recommended being awake, unless you’re at least in a twilight sedation, and I’m terrified that all I’m getting is Norco and Ativan and that I’ll have to endure the “mild to severe” pain. This is already the worst loss I’ve ever had in my life. Has anyone experienced a D&C; with Kaiser? Please tell me what to expect!
