Boys. Long read but please read

I’ve been talking to this boy, let’s call him J. I know that he has a girlfriend, let’s call H. So, been talking to J a lot as friends, in person (school) and snapchat. He hardly mentions E, I only knew he had E through a friend a week after me and J met.

I met J about a month before Christmas.

So, J asked if we could get close recently (week ago) , as friends, I was like ‘yeah sure, but how close?’ J said ‘however close it takes us’ I was like, well that’s a tad odd but I’ll roll with it, if anything happened between us I would stop and bring up E because I don’t wanna hurt her obvs.

Last night, our snapchat emojis hit the ‘no.1 best friend’. I brought it up in conversation and J said ‘This is not good, she’s gonna moan at me’ I was like ‘well ok then’ he said ‘is it alright if we don’t talk as much?’ Me being me was like ‘yeah sure, whatevs’ didn’t think much of it tbf.

Today, it was playing on my mind so bad that I had to tell him (see photo)

I sent him that and the conversation started...

Apparently E knows he’s been talking to me

E knows why he’s been talking to me

He’s basically been talking to me as a coping mechanism to get through college.

He’s been messaging E all the time he has been messaging me.

He sees E once a week so it’s not like they are completely apart.

I don’t know what to make of it.

I am going to be honest and say that I did start to catch feelings badly for him, he’s such a kind and sweet kid. Decent looks and bod too. Too good to be true.
