late flow...

Ok ladies help me out...I never been preggo, and I am 36 years of age. This month I have been dealing with a lot...so normally my cycle is on point every month. well this month I am 5 days late. Been having slight cramps, took a test yesterday it was negative. today I am spotting lightly..(only in wiping but not visible when going to the bathroom). I thought about stress and maybe that's the reason why I am late but This is not normal for me and I am just trying to figure out what it could be...no other symptoms. I see everyone else around me having babies, but I am wondering if I ever would have a child to raise. Hoping to give my mom her first grandbaby... Thoughts?
