Mine barely drinks! Except occasionally a beer with some friends. If you drink every day it’s said to be a problem. Stress drinking is a really bad sign. That’s a dependency on alcohol. Not good! Good luck❤️

Mine has been sober for almost 4 years. We met right before he began recovery and he’s been sober since. I love him and I’m so proud of him for it. 💗

I have been with my SO for almost 10 years. he is an alcoholic and has admitted it in the past. he quit for a year and it was amazing. During this year he got the best job he has ever had and we decided to have our 3rd child. I am almost 6 months pregnant and he has started drinking again almost daily. He doesn't feel its a problem because he has a good job. He also doesn't think I should get upset because at least he isn't an abusive drunk and he comes home to me. Although there have been times when he calls me names while drunk. I just miss the man I had this last year. I also feel stuck because I made it clear that I was done if he kept drinking so he quits and we decide to have another kid and then make the choice for me to be a SAHM and then he starts drinking again. So now I cant leave him because I cant find a job being this pregnant. I just needed to see tho if im overreacting and its something most women deal with or not.

My husband drinks maybe 2x a week. When he’s having a tough week he sometimes unwinds with a tumbler of bourbon and a bath to relax, but it’s not an everyday occurrence (the most was 5 days in a row, but he nurses his drink and doesn’t down more than his single serving). If they’re starting to depend on it, a problem is starting to evolve.
Alcoholism runs in in both our families, so we’re both very wary about that issue.

When I pointed out to my husband that he seemed to be drinking more, most days, I think that was the first time he’d really noticed it. Now he generally drinks on weekends, and occasionally if he’s watching sports during the week. Having a conversation about it might help, as long as you’re not sounding accusatory.

I drink more than my SO. But I don't drink to get drunk, I just love a couple beers after dinner. If you're getting drunk everyday that would be an issue. Just a drink here or there, I wouldn't care. But my SO drinks occasionally

My hubby likes to have a shower beer at the end of each week or on particularly stressful days. He’ll have a few beers if it’s the weekend, but it’s not an everyday thing. If it was an everyday thing, I’d be more concerned.
