Subchroinic Hemorrhage!?

Started Bleeding Lastnight, Not Enough To Be Called "Period Blood" But Enough To Scare Me Especially With The Color Dark Red...So Went To The ER...They Did Ah Ultrasound & Said It Was A Subchroinic Hemorrhage...Very Small....That Everything Looked Fine...I Just Am Worrying..Miscarried In September Of 2017...We Been Trying Ever Since...Really Want This Baby To Stickkkk...Anyone Had This & Everything Went Okay? 5 Weeks 2 Days..Please Calm My Nerves 💛

Answer

I had super scary bleeding three times early on in my last pregnancy. Like, it seemed like a red waterfall out of nowhere and looked like a murder scene. It eventually was discovered to be a subchorionic hemmhorage, plus partial placenta prévia. I was on pelvic rest and then on modified bed rest when spotting continued. It resolved during the early part of 2nd trimester. :)

I had a decent SCH at 9W  (bleed through a super tampon and my uniform in the 10 minutes it took to drive to the hospital). I'm now 24W and it has healed completely and baby is doing great. The doctor said I could go on pelvic rest, but but there was no evidence that it would help so I didn't and continued my normal sex and exercise. I did make sure to start eating along Brewer diet recommendations earlier to be sure that I was getting enough nutrients to heal the bleed.
