After having prodromal labor for a little over a week and making it to 4cm dilated I finally started having active labor contractions tonight around 10:30 pm. By 11:00 pm we were headed to the hospital because my contractions went from 0-60. When I arrived at 11:30 I was 6cm dilated and by the time the epidural was in and working I had already made it to 8cm. At 1:45 I was clear to push! One push and out came Xavier Rae Goeckner born at 2:00 am at 37 weeks. He’s a healthy 7 lbs and 20 inches long! Wow 3 1/2 hour labor! That was so fast! He is my 4th and I’m soooooo happy he’s finally here! Happy Birthday Xavier!
