Midwife said I’m too fat!
Vent post- So I go in for my 20 week appt- I’m pregnant with twins and already on the heavier side (5’7 - 230 pounds pre pregnancy)- so she looks at my chart and says “you know you gained 10 pounds already.”
I just had a baby a year ago so I didn’t get to lose all the weight I had from before.
And she continues with “start eating healthier” which I eat pretty healthy for the most part anyways . I was kind of taken back by it because I mean, what are they expecting? Should I NOT BE gaining weight? I know for bigger women gaining weight isn’t a necessity but do they really believe we WANT to gain any more weight ?!
It’s like, well lady I’m going to gain weight. That’s not something I can avoid nor control at this point.
