I am a little over 8 weeks pregnant, and I have had problems with constipation before getting pregnant.

Today, I went to the bathroom and finally had some relief and had a BM. I looked in the toilet to track size and consistency because it's been a few days since I have gone and there was a large amount of blood in the toilet.

I started to panic. I wiped my vagina and there was no blood. Relieved, but still concerned, I wiped my butt. There was a lot of blood on the toilet paper.

My first thought was hemriods, but it wasn't painful to go to the bathroom and I feel pretty normal. My BM was on the soft side and wasn't large by any means, so I don't think there was anything tearing.

Any ideas? I am pretty concerned about the amount of blood and too embarrassed to talk about it with anyone I know.
