Acid Reflux??

Question

I’ll talk to my baby’s doctor about this but just wanted to see what some other mommas experienced. What were some symptoms your LOs had when they got diagnosed with acid reflux? My baby is 6 weeks old and spits up quite often and is gassy causing him to be pretty fussy at times. Thanks!

Spit up, hiccups, coughing, screaming/crying during or after feeding, fussiness, arching back, jerking limbs constantly, difficulties sleeping, eating often. Our second baby has it so bad. We knew something was wrong the first night home from the hospital. He’s now on 2 medications 😕

Spitting up excessively, screaming while being burped, arching his back while feeding, constant hiccups and just all around fussy and never really content. It was around 6 weeks when he was diagnosed and put on Zantac. He’s 7 months now and since he’s eating solids it doesn’t seem to bother him as much.

just spitting up isnt an issue. some babies spit up lots and its completly normal. reflux is when baby is in pain or clearly uncomfortable from spitting up. my son would cry aftwr spitting up and after awhile starting rejecting eating because he associated it with the pain of reflux. he arched his back a lot when he was sleeping or awake and kind of like acting like he had a gross taste in his mouth and smacked his mouth alot.
