Why do people check there cervix?

I don't know how to or why people do it I'm just a little intrigued as to why and surely pregnant people shouldn't be doing it? It just doesn't sound safe to me I don't know 🤷‍♀️

Tracking cm and cp can aid in ttc. You’re right, it shouldn’t be done during pregnancy. Hope this helps you a little (I’ll spare you the cm photos since you just asked about cp). I didn’t use opks or track bbt. Just went based on cm and cp along with Glow’s predicted days and conceived within 4 months.
