Painful sex

So this morning me and my bf were having sex (doggy style) so then I started to feel pain so I had told him to stop because it was starting to hurt it felt good for a min than it started to feel really painful so than I told him do it from the front instead! Any suggestions you like think I should try to where it won’t be so painful ....! 😩 Cause my bf loves the booty lol
