Ok.. so I guess I'm just looking for ideas. My husband retires from the Army next year and still is having a hard time figuring out what he wants to do after retirement. He knows he wants to stay in the government and he wants a title. He likes to know he's fighting for something and wants to feel like he has a purpose at work. He was thinking something in politics..even if it's just a councilman.

Looking for ideas to run across him and see if it's something he would be interested in. He also LOVES animals and even though he hasnt said it I think something with animals would be good for him. He has PTSD and will be 38 when he retires so he's not as young as most people starting a lifetime career and he believes certain mentally demanding jobs would be hard for him to get and/or keep... ei. police officer.
