How often do you have an ultrasound?

I will only have two my whole pregnancy. The first was at 14 weeks for the ERA, the second was at almost 21 weeks for the fetal survey (found out we were having a girl that day too!). I thought this was what everyone else had done but a friend of mine said she gets one every month. Does anyone else get a monthly scan?

I had ultrasounds monthly, then as my pregnancy progressed biweekly and then weekly until delivery, but my pregnancy was high risk. The norm is a couple ultrasounds cause that's usually what insurances will pay for unless there's a medical reason to do more.

She might be high risk if she gets one that often. Two is totally normal!

What your describing is normal. If your pregnancy is going well they only do a couple. That's a good thing!😃

So far I'm 26 weeks and had already like 4 then I had another one on July 13 and baby and I'm we are perfect , some providers now is like they star cut off ultrasound not sure why, but I'm happy with mine , good luck

I'm high risk, so I've had a total of ten.

I've had 3 and that's all I'll have. I only got the 3 because my NP found it easier to find the heartbeat that early on. Usually they do 2

Only 2 from my drs. One at 7+5 and one at 20.
