Baby doesn’t eat any solids I make 😰any tips ?

Almslt. 7 mo and he still doesn’t really eat any of the solids I purée -or mash - we’ve tried avocado sweet potatoes peas carrots and baby oatmeal 
Any tips ? 😯please

Honestly before 1 it’s for fun. I wouldn’t stress about it. Just keep offering! One day baby will decide they are ready.

Try a little bit of fruit purée mixed in to sweeten it up like mushed bananas/apples/pear. Especially with the avocado, that’s helped us tremendously. Formula and breast milk is very sweet tasting so that’s what they are used to

New foods can take 6-10 times of introduction before the like it. Keep trying!! You can also try varying the textures (amount of lumpiness) too:)

My baby hates it if I approach her face with a spoon. She will grab pieces of food and stuff her face though... So I'm steaming finger-sized veggie and fruit pieces and let her pick them up. It's lots of fun and about as messy as overturned spoons of mush. Also, milk is the important meal right now, everything else is for fun and for learning. You don't need to worry until about ten months 😊

Does he spit it out? If so, his tongue thrust may not be gone yet! It’s to help protect them as infants but usually goes away around 6 months. 
As long as he’s gaining weight I would just let him wait until he’s ready! 😁

I recommend mixing the mashed or pureed vegetables with breast milk or formula - that way the kid will recognise the taste. Of the baby eats you can then continuously add less and less of milk or formula.
