What do I do?! Please help

Question

My daughter is 9 months old. Recently she’s been so horribly clingy to me that I can’t stand it. She wakes up in the middle of the night screaming and when I go get her from her crib, she’ll instantly stop crying and fall asleep. I rock her for a while and put her back in her crib, and the second she is in the crib, she wakes up and starts screaming again, so I pick her up and she’ll calm down and go to sleep right away. We do this for hours on end until she finally is so exhausted that she passes out. 
And she’ll be perfectly happy being held by a family member, but the second she sees me, she’ll start crying and screaming until I’m holding her and then the crying will immediately stop.
Has anyone else experienced this? What do I do?! I feel like I wanna pull my hair out. I love her, but I can’t live like this. What do I do?!?!?

This is normal for this age. They just go through a phase. it will get better. the crying at night you may try letting her cry for a few moments just to see if she will fall back to sleep on her own. or if you go in don't pick her up just lay her back down in her bed and gently pat her until she falls back to sleep.

It’s a phase for that age. But she’s also learning when she cries - you will come. So if you don’t let her learn to soothe herself back to sleep in the middle of the night somehow then she will continue this and get worse about it.

Maybe try sitting her down in a room with some toys, walk out for a second, and then come right back in before she starts crying? And then try to extend the time apart from each other a little longer each time until she's used to you being out of sight. Or, if it's the opposite where she only cries when she sees you, rather than when you're gone, maybe try distracting her. I'm not sure. Could she be teething? My daughter was like that when she was teething, but it's been so long ago.

What do I do?! Please help
