Period or miscarriage

I’ve been trying to have a baby for 6 months now and I was suppose to start my period on Tuesday and I had pink spotting on time that day and didn’t even had to use a pad, then the next day I had spotting brown and pink on and off all that day wore a pad but only a dime size of it was on there this lastly like that till Friday and Friday till now which is Sunday I’ve had a lot of blood and small blood clots that filled a pad every time and now I just had this with a whole bunch of small clots around it too!!! Need help is this a miscarriage or period??? 😞
