What’s wrong with me?

Ok so in my 18 years of living I have yet to been asked out or generally flirted/ “non sexually” hit up by guy .. ( I haven’t been on my first date or even kissed someone yet it’s embarrassing) lots of people I talk to say it’s just because of the small town I grew up in.. honestly I don’t think so.. generally guys just don’t look at me or notice me like they do with my friends it’s always “can I get your friends number” or “ you’re friend is hot” kinda deal i am honestly sick of it. I’m hoping when I get to college this fall things will change but I’m not hoping for much... did any of you girls have troubles getting in the dating scene or I am I doing something wrong?
