Eating before 6 months?

I’m just wondering how many people got the okay to feed their babies before 6 months? Im just curious also how many months? was your baby when you did get the okay. I AM NOT IN A RUSH GO FEED MINE BEFORE 6 MONTHS And YES I’ve heard it can mess with their Digestive system. My mom was just talking and I wanted to see how many people actual do go with what the doctor says and their okay.

at 4 months we got the ok. as for waiting 6 months, it all depends on the readiness of your baby and that’s usually what the pediatrician will look at. god damn some moms on here get on my nerves. who the hell are some of you to say a pediatrician isn’t good based on when to feed your child? stfu. do what feels right for you and yours, mama.

Old recommendations stated 4 months. All new research says to wait until 6 months. A pediatrician that says ok at 4 months isn’t up to date on current research. That’s a red flag right there. Not all pediatricians are created equal.

We were given the go ahead by our pediatrician at 4 months old with our son. We stayed on the same food, all three meals for four days at a time. By the time he was six months old he had tried apples, prunes, pears, bananas, peas, carrots and green beans. Out of all of those he only had an issue with the bananas which constipated him by day two so we didn’t do those again.

I got the ok from mine at 4 months because she's started waking up at night being more hungry.
And plus she gets constipated so we try here and there she's totally fine.
Try it out it might work and if it doesn't wait a little

I did nothing big or heavy more like mushy things . Your ready when your ready every mom is different . Also Some Dr will say they are fine and some to wait until 6 months .

We got the okay at 4 months because our daughter was surpassing all her developmental milestones. But we still absolutely waited until 6 months. I feel that it's super important to wait. My parents, however gave us purees at 3 or 4 months or something like that and my husband's aunt insisted she was giving her kids food at 1 month. Times have certainly changed. We wanted to do baby led weaning so that was one of the big reasons why I waited until 6 months. it's a much different ballgame than doing purees.
