Can stress cause braxton hicks?

I’m 24 weeks pregnant, and I’ve been super stressed. I get braxton hick 3-5 times a day, and they’re super painful. They didn’t start until me stressing gotten worse☹️

yes, and make sure you drink a lot of water. I was dehydrated 3 times with my son and had preterm labor which caused me to dilate starting at 23 weeks.
