I had a c-section a week ago and was told I can only lift 10 lbs for 2 weeks. I have a 15 month old that weighs 20 lbs and is having a hard time adjusting to Mommy not being able to take care of her on a daily basis due to the lifting restrictions. My newborn's pediatrician told me today that they give those restrictions because they know people always go over the limit anyways and I would probably be fine to lift her. Did anyone exceed their restrictions with a c-section? What was your experience like? It is breaking my heart to see my daughter struggle....
