Teething?

I see my sons getting a top tooth. He did this something last week to but last night he wouldn’t sleep, just woke up constantly crying didn’t want a bottle was only okay if I held him for the most part. I noticed he was pulling at his ear. Then today his babysitter said he wouldn’t really sleep just took short naps and was kind of fussy and didn’t eat much and pulled at his ear and was kind of fussy. He’s been fine since we’ve been home. But how do I help him sleep at night if this happens again?
