Hey everyone

I am 25 and weighed 250lbs Pre-pregnancy, now weigh 236 and I’m 5’4. I was never told I was high risk for being overweight but did take an early glucose test that came back fine. I don’t have high blood pressure and the baby is measuring right where he’s supposed to.

I am now 22 weeks and have not had any complications. I had my anatomy scan at 20 weeks and the dr there said that they like high risk women to come in every week for the last 8 weeks to have a scan done. This was the first I had heard of being high risk.

I am just curious if any of you ladies have had to have that many scans. I’m all for it if it’s medically necessary but my insurance only covered the first one and so these will all be out of pocket.

Has anyone else had to have this many ultra sounds?
