I’m 3 months pregnant and it’s aggravating that I have to deal with this at all!!

I’ll give you the background.

My parents are divorced (dad remarried)

Me and my husband are politically conservative, my dad is leans very left.

My dad doesn’t take the best care of his home and he dresses and looks like a bum sometimes. Haha! But he’s my dad! And I love him. He takes my kids (from my last marriage) every Monday and always tries to help out. He’s not very well off money wise, but is very loving. My husbands family is from out of state and are very well off and pretty much perfect. I love my in laws. My husband doesn’t like my dad because of who he is and it’s causing great tension in our marriage. My dad knows none of this and has never said anything bad about my husband. What can I do?? I’ve tried to talk to my husband about this over and over.
