What to wear after the baby is born??

I’m stuck on what to bring with me to the hospital! I always wear leggings, but should I wear sweatpants instead? Or both I guess??

My mom told me to get some high waisted underwear (think spanx) because your belly feels all mushy after and it’s uncomfortable. Big enough to wear over your adult diaper or with a huge pad inside. I plan to wear those with loose, soft pj bottoms because I don’t want it to be super obvious that I’m wearing a diaper LOL 😜

Dresses! I personally didn’t want anything pushing on me. Being pregnant again, I started with dresses on this last trimester. Pants o any kind are banned 🤣🤣

My favorie are the secret treasures ones from Walmart. Sooo soft and comfy. I’m bringing 2 pairs to the hospital and a pair of high waisted crop leggings to wear home (1 size big).

I wore sweats.  I think I would go yoga pants before leggings...just because they are easier to get on, but comfort is key
Another option would be a skirt/dress.

I wore a night gown with my first. You're going to be in giant mesh panties and a huge pad, laying on a disposable sheet and they check your bleeding multiple times so I feel like pants would get in the way personally. I'll be having a C-section this time and packed the same night gown. I figured pants might bother the incision. But it's all about individual comfort. Pack lightly and ask your SO to bring something different if you change your mind.

No leggings! Definitely bring loose fitting sweats or PJs. You will have thick pads and ice packs in your crotch for awhile if delivering vaginally. I didn’t realize that with my first born. I went on LatchedMaMa.com and got some adorable pjs to wear at the hospital and home this time around...highly recommend

I would say sweats because you are going to be wearing big pads/diapers due to the large amount of bleeding that comes after birth!

I’m gonna wear hubby’s sweat pants and shirts (the ones that he don’t care to wear anymore so I will make use of it and save money. Hehe)
