Consultant led care (UK) BMI 35+
Hi ladies,
I'm so pleased to have come across this group- yesterday was my first midwife appointment and she was very nice but harped on about my BMI and how if it was over 35 (I didn't tell her I thought it probably was) that I would have to go via consultant led care- this is my second pregnancy first ended in early miscarriage in January. I'm 7+2(ish) PCOS is a nightmare! I don't smoke, drink, or consume caffeine- basically apart from there being in her words "more mommy than we would like" I'm pretty healthy and eat a fairly balanced diet. Hubby got all excited about me having my green notes and he said it felt even more real to him now but I just felt a bit deflated like I'd already let bean down- who had a great heartbeat last week so hopefully alls ok in there. Just looking for some thoughts really- feel a bit better about it today but just wanted a bit of fellow big girl love. Thanks in advance X x x x x
