high thyroid levels

with my first pregnancy they were a little high but not high enough for med this is my second and it's a lot higher I'm being referred to a specialist anyone else deal with hypothyroidism I think that's what high levels is called I read some signs are anxiety which I do have at weird times for no reason mood swings have it :p sleep problems I have that and some others but does it effect baby at all?
