WHY do women test ...

With BLUE dye instead of pink? Especially if you’re testing early...
I don’t mean to be a bxtch but I feel like blue dye tests are only reliable if you’re absolutely 100% sure you’re pregnant... otherwise you get some shit result. It honestly makes me not even want to give my opinion on whether I think it’s pos or negative just because I’m just as uncertain with those tests myself !

Update : I did a blue dye AFTER I knew I was pregnant already and confirmed on pink dye... obvious positive but I’m talking about the vvvfl posts

Blue is cheaper. I havent had any issues with them.

Because that’s what the store had at the time 🤷🏻‍♀️ and it was clear as day that I was pregnant. There was no question about it. I haven’t had any issues with them.

Idk. I had a very obvious false positive on a blue dye. I don't trust them at all.

I super freaked myself out yesterday after getting my positive by reading about "false positives" with blue dye. I rushed out and bought an FRER and got a positive, but nothing crazy dark. Basically I freaked myself out over nothing. The point I'm trying to make is that blue dyes can be reliable if they are early result ones, I was only 11 dpo and 5 days before my missed period and both blue and pink showed accurate results.

I agree.. I’ve seen so many women get happy when they see a “faint line” but it’s either an indent or false positive. I recommend testing with a cheapie over those! I don’t see why they haven’t been removed from the shelves anyway!
