9 DPO

I don't even know if this is a question or just me venting. I got pregnant back in December and had a miscarriage at 6 weeks. I finally got my period back last month. I use the ovulation test strips and I had sex on the day it was positive. I am now 9 DPO. I took a test today because I am SO impatient, and it was negative. It was a cheap test and I know it's kind of early, but ugh. I want this more than I've wanted anything. My period is due this coming Tuesday, April 10th. Should I wait until then to test again?
