So my boyfriend and I have had unprotected sex twice since my last period, once three days before my projected Ovulation and once before my projected period. I'm consistently a 27 day cycle and I haven't been late since I started tracking two years ago. I took a First Response yesterday during the afternoon and it came back negative (the yes or no type, so no 'light line' possible) but I thought I should take one early morning since that's generally the best time to take them. The one this morning came back negative as well, but my breasts are swollen and tender, warm to the touch and there is no spotting or reddishness to my discharge at all. What do you think? Should I trust the test?
