The dreaded hemorrhoids... when will the symptoms subside?

I’m 21 weeks and I’ve been feeling terrible this week. I thought I might have a bug. I’m pretty sure I did, I’m just not feeling 100% now.

Then after going to the bathroom Monday night and Weds morning with discomfort and a little bleeding I started to question if I have an internal hemorrhoid.

I discussed it with my doctors yesterday and just started preparation H and Colace today.

I’ve never really had this issue before, so I’m just wondering when others started to feel relief once they started taking something?

I’m wondering if maybe I’m a little backed up - I don’t know that I’ve been having full bowel movements since the discomfort started occurring. Has that happened to anyone else?
