friends pains

so my friend is having really bad pains when her period started this week. she's scared it's an ovarian cyst because she's had one burst before and it felt the same and she's scared. I'm not sure what to do to help her cause I've never had one. when I have bad pains it affects me body temp and I possibly puke. does anyone have any advice. also Idk if she can go to the doctor currently because it's pretty late.
