When should I have my baby shower?

So I'm due January 20th when should I have a shower? I was thinking October or November.. Any advice? Maybe earlier so we will have time to buy what we don't get?

I had this issue with my first son as he was due January 31st. We couldn't have it on holidays so we did it early November.

I'd do it after Halloween but before thanksgiving! So ppl will have money , be in town, and you will be busy for holidays too so it seems like the perfect time to me. 💁☺️

Yes, I would do it early November or October before all the holidays. That time is busy enough, you don't want the be worried about a shower in the midst of it.
