Morning sickness medication?

Question

How bad were you when you started taking it? How much did it help? How long did it take to help? 
I haven’t actually thrown up, but I’m miserable. I can’t even walk to the toilet without starting to dry wretch. 
I’m currently on leave from work, but can’t imagine going back next week.  
I’m 7 weeks tomorrow and I’ve been like this for a week. Please tell me it gets better soon!

ive been on 3 different meds so far nothing has helped about to get my script filled for diclegis hoping it works ive been so sick ive been stuck in bed for 2 weeks i got sick at 5 weeks and on week 8 and nothing has helped been in the er 3x so far from dehydration. i feel everyone pain some days i can eat some days i cant even hold nothing down

I prefer ginger, it’s natural, doesn’t have the best taste in my opinion but gets the job done!

My nausea started bad at 5 weeks and I went one week with it losing 6 pounds before I called the doctor. Thank god I did bc I still feel pretty sick on the medication so I cant even imagine how I would feel without it. They started me on diclegis which I didn’t notice much of a difference with then zofran which helps a lot

My nausea started just before 7 weeks and is still going strong at 9 weeks. I’ve been working from home a lot because it is so hard to be in the office and act like a real human being. I let my boss know what’s going on and she’s been really understanding. I’m taking unisom and B6 at night and it’s helping a little. Hoping to get some relief soon. I think I probably have at least 3 more weeks of this though.

Hi Bee I feel your pain. I am also 7 weeks and am nauseous almost all day and night and have been vomiting and dry retching multiple times a day. This afternoon I started taking the Elevit morning sickness relief tablets which have ginger and vitamin b6 and so far it is the best afternoon I’ve had all week. I will continue and see if it helps. Might be worth looking at vitamin b6 as it is apparently safe for pregnancy. My cousin who is a GP also recommended Restivit altho you can’t drive after taking it as it makes you drowsy.

I'm 8 weeks on Monday n I have all day morning sickness. I started the B6 25mg 3 times a day a week ago plus ginger lemon tea and the past 2 days haven't been too bad bc it takes awhile for the B6 to build up n start working. I saw my obgyn yesterday n since I'm not throwing up everyday n when I do it's 1 -2 times she won't prescribe any rx for it. so you can always call your Dr but definitely try the B6 n ginger tea or ginger ale
