Dry skin???

Question

Usually my skin is super oily, so I've began to wash my face 3 times a day. It gets rid of the oil problem which is great, but it leaves my sensitive skin with red, dry patches. Its hard to put makeup on because it clumps around the dry spots, and my skin peels. Ive tried putting Cereve lotion all over my face, but nothing seems to be working. Any home remedy tips for getting rid of dry skin? Thank you!

Don’t wash your face so often in a day. Your just stripping all the oils so it’s drying out your skin real bad.

Usually oily skin is a sign that your skin isn’t moisturized enough, so definitely stop washing your face that often. I personally wash my face in the morning with African black soap, use an alcohol free toner (I prefer witch hazel), and an unscented moisturizer. At night I oil cleanse, use the toner again, and use a thicker night cream. It’s helped me but everyone is different.

I used to have the most oily skin and HONEY DO NOT WASH IT SO OFTEN also washing it just makes more oil I would actually recommend oil on your face before bed and as much oil as possible as your body doesn’t feel the need to keep producing oil if it’s not stripped of oil
