TTC and Bridesmaid dresses?

My husband and I are just about to start TTC for the first time (we’ve been using condoms up until now). We have no idea how long it will take to get pregnant, but I’m supposed to be in a wedding at the end of August and the bride wants us to go ahead and order bridesmaid dresses. If we get pregnant right away, I’ll be 4 months pregnant by then, but if I’m not, I’d rather not have a baggy bridesmaid dress as a reminder of that. Any ideas on what to do? I’m currently hoping I can wait a month to order and see what happens.

Order it a size up and have it taken in. I'm doing the same thing for my sister's wedding in October.

I was a bridesmaid when I was a little over 3 months pregnant and it didn't really make a difference as in my stomach wasnt that big (1st baby too). the dresses were strapless and long and flowy so it was fine. I told the dress shop when I was fitted for the dress so they knew and helped me decide what the beast size would be.

In August you’d be 16 weeks at most! You won’t be very big! Your normal size may work!

Dresses can be altered.  And life is funny.  I don’t know the stats on getting pregnant the first go round but I would buy the bigger size and alter it if you need to.
