Another baby so soon?

Question

We have two boys, age 2 and 14 months. I swore we would wait till they’re in school till we have another but I seem to be sooo broody lately! Is it too soon?

That would all be up to what you feel your ready for financially. Mentally and emotionally. 3 small children would be a lot of work but that’s up to you if you’re ready. I’d definitely give it some serious thought before trying though

For me, yes. It’s way too soon. I had 2 under 2 and almost went insane. Our minimum gap is now 3-4 years. I love being pregnant and giving birth. I can’t wait for this fall to try for number 4! I also have ZERO help from anyone, including my husband because of his job. The gap is very important for me to have enough time for all of my children and all of my other responsibilities, including homeschooling. 
If you know you can handle another, go for it! Only you know what you can handle. I’m sure whenever you have another child, it will bless you immensely❤️

That’s all up to you and what you think you can handle; financially, emotionally and mentally. My daughter is 7 (will be 8 July 13th) and my son is 5 (will be 6 August 30th), so they are almost exactly 2 years apart. I personally waited till my youngest was in school to even consider starting TTC our 3rd. I knew this one would be our last, so I very selfishly chose to wait so that I could have plenty of one on one time with this last baby and be able to sleep when it slept. I wanted to be able to cherish this last baby just us for a few hours during the day and my husband agreed that would be best. Also by then we would be paying no daycare, as we both work. Since I chose what was best for us, my kids and the future baby my husband very unselfishly has told me (if I want of course) that once I enter maternity leave I can chose to not go back until I feel comfortable, even if it means not going back until this last baby enters kindergarten. He works overnights and I have a very high demanding job, with long hours, being on call 4 nights out of the week etc. and knew with all that and him being gone at nights I would get little to no sleep. So once we were TTC he took a more demanding, higher paying management position at his job; that he didn’t want to take because he was happy with his position. He has also been working 20 plus hours of overtime a week to put in our savings all so that I could have what I wanted and what he considered best for me and our family. Girl I’m blessed by this amazing man who makes me fall in love with him more every single day. Now I don’t know your situation, but all I’m trying to say is sometimes it pays off to wait.
