Hormones and Potholes

Here I am coming out of Kroger with one of those short grocery carts. It’s freezing and blowing snow here in Indiana so I am booking it to my car. And my eyes are watering I can barely see.

The pavement in the parking lot starts sloping downward and at the bottom of the slope a huge pothole! Which my cart hits hard and completely flips forward. I had to let go or I was going down with it. Every single one of my grocery bag flies out of the cart. And the wheels slam into both of my knees.

Mind you I am quite visibly pregnant with my coat unzipped because it won’t fit anymore. And some guy completely walks past me and does not even stop to help! Could not believe it. Luckily a lady stopped and helped me pick everything up and asked if I was ok. Normally I probably would have laughed about it. But those hormones are working their magic, I responded yes and then burst out into tears for no reason. As if it wasn’t embarrassing enough to flip my cart I’m now bawling in the middle of the Kroger parking lot.

HAPPY FRIDAY!😂😭
