When did you start seeing changes of weight loss after having baby?

I’m only two weeks pp and have been walking almost daily and I know I need to be patient but super discouraged of my extra fatty stomach and saggy skin...I had an emergency c section

regardless if you birthed via csection, emergency csection, or vaginal, the weight loss is going to depend on your prebaby body condition as well as how you treated your body during and after. method of birth has little to do with it other than you may be postponed in workouts for an extra 2 to 4 wks if you had a csection. only approx 20 lbs pf ypur wright gain is baby and extra blood, placenta, etc. all that falls off on it's own usually in the first few weeks. whatever you gained over that is pure fat and most people will have to work tp get it off. but dont let people fool you into thinking it's more difficult because it's "baby fat". fat is fat. calories in vs calories out. some people have higher metabolism than others but again that goes back to body condition. if you were active before and during your pregnancy, you'll more than likely lose weight easier than someone who wasn't and vice versa. good luck and enjoy your new baby!

It takes 8 weeks for your uterus to shrink back to size, so don’t even try to look at your belly until after that...be patient...it took 9 months for your body to grow a baby...you will get it back, but don’t stress over it now

After 3 weeks I started seeing a difference. Then I gained it back real quick because I got pregnant lol

I started to lose weight pretty quickly, but don’t expect your body to look exactly the same (in most cases) it takes a while for the skin to catch up and tighten a little. For some it never tightens. By the time my son was 6 weeks, I was 5 pounds less than when I got pregnant and lost another 30lbs. My skin went back pretty well, but I’m gaining a ton of weight this 2nd time around though, so I don’t know that I’ll be so lucky.

I was all baby. I worked very hard throughout my pregnancy to keep my weight gain under control. So I lost all 20 pounds in the first week.
