When to test?

That's not really when my period is supposed to start btw. That's just glows guess. But anyways, when should I test? My periods are every other month and come as they please so Idk when I ovulate or anything. So I just did the deed a lot this month. I'm not sure if that's when I ovulated so... Any help would be great
