Kinda long body pos story
Through middle school into high school my weight increased dramatically because I went through a period of depression due to family issues etc. I went from around 105 to 130 in three years. This past summer I lost about 12 pounds and then it came up a little and I’ve been sitting at 120 for a little. Even after losing that I still look at myself and feel super fat and just get discouraged with eating better and stuff. But the other day I was wearing a tank top and jeans in the car with my boyfriend (who’s also been my best friend for 5 years so I highly value his opinion) and he said to me you look really hot in a tank top but you’d look even better if you did weights too. I know some of you might think he was being harsh but he’s always completely honest with me so it doesn’t bother me. Anyways, when he said that it really made me realize that I’m not fat I just need to be a bit more toned, you know? But since that happened I’ve felt so much better about myself and I’ve been a lot more confident with the clothes I wear and showing off my body. It’s really nice being comfortable with yourself
