Implantation happens 7-10 days post ovulation (which usually in the middle of your cycle). Before that, your body is not producing pregnancy hormones. So, most people start feeling symptoms around the same time as their missed period.

If your accident was yesterday or the day before, you should still be able to use a Plan B type pill. Sooner is better, but they can be effective when used up to 72 hours after the sex and pevent implantation by altering your hormones a bit.

Otherwise, you can test the day of your missed period.

I'm seven weeks and literally have had no symptoms.  I know there's a baby we had our first ultrasound and we had an iui so we know the conception date.
