My dad 😕

Okay so growing up I had a good childhood with my dad saw him every weekend had great holidays everything I could ever wish for and have lovely memories ....

When I was 16 things started to turn nasty I guess when I was old enough to realise . He cheated on my step mom broke my family I saw him less and less but still spoke regularly. To cut the story short we had a pretty rocky relationship after that but he was still my dad .

Now I’m pregnant and he moved to the other side of country (5 hours away) a year ago I’ve never seen him he does ring me and I’ve asked to meet half way he doesn’t want to he says he’s going to come up when he can afford it but the thing is I know he’s making ALOT of money .

Every time I speak to him I feel upset that he can go a year with out seeing his only child !

My question is do I carry on having this troubled relationship or just give up and accept I might never see him again???
