Working in the first trimester

Has anyone worked as a HCA/PSW or nurse

during their pregnancy especially in the first trimester? I'm a HCA/PSW in a long term care facility and I am 6weeks 3 day pregnant. I started having brown discharge around 5 weeks 6 days and it only happens at work. My mom read online that it's because my body temperature is rising at work which causes cervical mucus to come out. The receptionist at my doctors said it can happen when you're on your feet all day. I was terrified it was a miscarriage. Has anyone had this also and gave give to a healthy baby? I can't help but be worried
