VBA2C or just take the c section?

My first was a c section in 2007 from the baby being frank breech. The hospital and doctor I used for my second baby (same as the first) would only do a repeat c section in 2009 even though the baby was head down. I am pregnant again and due in the middle of December. My original doctor no longer delivers babies. The currant office I'm going to uses my local hospital and will still only offer me a c section. The closest hospital I may have a chance with is an hour a way. Has anyone had an experience with VBA2C? Would it be worth the trouble of finding a doctor willing to let me try? Or just take the c section? I'm hoping for a faster recovery time. Thank you for your options 😊
