Tmi Tmi ( With Graphic Pic) What is that?? And should I be worried?

So today is day 3 of AF and usually by then it would be getting lighter to the point where it's just residue and is starting to go away. Usually lasting 5 to 6 days. An hour after I put my tampon on earlier and pad (as backup) I felt that wet feeling so I got up to check. The tampon was full and overflowing onto the pad. I pulled it out and this ( pic below) came out with it. I have never had a clot so big and now my period is heavier and the blood is a very bright red , not like it usually is by day 3. Should I be worried? I didn't put a tampon back on , I am too freaked out.
