Anyone got sick with the cold while pregnant?

I got sick last week, sore throat, nasal congestion, etc and I'm better now, but not 100% recovered yet ? I just want to get rid of this cold without harming my baby. I am 19 weeks and I only took the recommended Tylenol and Robitussin but only a few times since I dont want to abuse on the medicine. Any advise on how to recover from a cold?

I found having a cup of boiled water with lemon and honey helped my throat and used sailine spray wich cleared my nose and helped me breath through the night. Also put a few drops of eucalyptus in a air difuser, it helped make breathing easier. Other then that i just toughed it out as you do :). Fingers crossed you cold goes asap! x

You can take a nasal decongestant or get a netty pot those help. Also take some vitamin c.

I feel soo guilty whenever I take anyy kind of medicine. I have a cold right now & I just drink a lot of liquids and I have my humidifier on & I'm staying in bed all day. It's working thank god

How long did you guys took clyomid for before becoming pregnaunt ?

My doctor said i could take those Vitaminc C packets (like Airborne or Emergen-C), they are really good.

Mine been sinuses and coughing and nasal stopped up so doc has me on robitussin cf for cough and zyrtec at night and afrin

I did with #1...it was so bad, and I couldbt take anything. It felt like it stayed forever

Yep! Had it 3 or 4 times lol. I didnt take anything but as soon as i felt one starting id have hot water with honey and lemon... I think it works wonders :) and just used saline spray for my nose when i couldnt breath.... The longest it lasted was about 5-6 days then it was gone :)

I was told you can use afrin nasal spray. Works wonders for a stuffed nose at night. It can only be used once a day so I suggest right before bed so you can sleep.
